This week we
are learning about the three different types of communities; urban, suburban,
and rural. I have created a lesson that includes reading a community story (The
Little House), a slideshow of the definitions of each community and a picture
that goes with the community, and an activity for the kids to complete. This is
an awesome lesson that the kids really enjoy! This is also a great activity for
a SUB to use in Social Studies! Here is an example of what the activity looks
like.
